Forty Hadith, a complete guide for building a good character

Masjid Al-Huda is hosting a series on Hadith, every Friday after Maghrib starting July 16th.
The selected Hadiths are from Imam Nawawi's Forty Hadith, and inshallah will be covering one Hadith each week.
These will be presented by Maulana Mubeen Kamani, a very young scholar, in English.

Al-Huda Academy - Full time Islamic School

Al-Huda Academy, the full-time Islamic School, is open for registration for the School Year (2010-2011).
The School has over 100 students and is operating at almost full capacity. Parents are highly involved in the School and has one of the most active PTAs, mashallah.

Al-Huda Weekend Islamic School

The Sunday School has been operating since 2005. Over 320 students currently attend the School, for classes Pre-KG thru 10th grade.
About 40 highly dedicated volunteers make this happen, with the blessings of the Almighty.
The School is operating at its capacity and has a waiting list, and actively looking for expansion.
The School will re-open on Sept. 26th, after Summer-break, inshallah. Registration is currently Closed, however for enlisting on the waiting list, please e-mail details at schooladmin@masjidalhuda.org, and we would accomodate subject to availability in those grades.

Project: Islamic Education

Proper education of our youth is the top priority. Islamic Schools, full-time and weekends will help us achieve this goal.
The current School and educational programs are made possible due to the community's involvement and will inshallah continue to improve with the community's involvement. All of us are expected to play our roles in this effort. Running a school needs the involvement of the community, to help our dedicated teachers and administrators.
Monetary contributions from the community are essential for completing these projects. Please continue your support.

Project: School & Masjid Expansion

Alhamdulillah, we have completed the pavement of the parking lot, last year.
Our immediate next project is to expand the women's prayer hall and provide elevator and wheel-chair access to the building.
The following project is to start the expansion of the Masjid building, which would provide much needed space for our Weekend and Full-time schools.
Community members are urged to donate for this project.

Under the leadership and supervision of Maulana Abdul Aziz Ahmed, Hafiz Waheedullah Khan is teaching the boys, Alima & Hafiza Ruqiyya Aziz Ahmed is teaching the girls.

FIQH CLASSES FOR SISTERS
Daughters of Maulana Abdul Aziz Ahmed are teaching Bahiste-Zewar, for the sisters to gain the knowledge of Deen. Every Friday 4:00 to 5:00pm, and the classes are free of cost.
