Urgent Appeal - Opportunity to expand Masjid facility

Masjid Al-Huda currently facilitates and administers few community, religious and educational programs, and due to the current and future needs, intends to expand these programs, including but not limited to Funeral Home, Senior-citizen facility, Youth activities facility, Educational programs.
Currently, there is a property next door, and the current owners have agreed to sell that property to the Masjid before end of this Jan 2012. This property is to the East of the Masjid and enhances the accessibility from Irving Park road, and indirectly from Elgin-OHare Expressway.
The community can discuss and decide how to utilize the facility, but at this time, Masjid absolutely needs to acquire that property.
If every single member contributes $150, we will be able to acquire that property. Mashallah, if Allah has blessed us more, we must contribute our fair share towards this noble cause, and earn Sadaqa-e-Jaariya. May Allah(swt) accept all our efforts, Ameen.

The 40 Hadith of Imam Nawawi

Please join us this Friday at 7:30 p.m. (Isha) as we continue this lecture series on the 40 hadith of Imam Nawawi. It is imperitive that one tries their best to attend this lecture series as there are many life lessons that can be derived from Imam Nawawi's compilation. This is a good chance to learn how to better oneself and bring their family closer to the deen by way of the Prophetic guidance. This series is taught by Maulana Mubeen Kamani.

Educational Programs for youth

• Al-Huda Academy is a Full-time Islamic School. Classes are held in the Academy building.


• Weekend Islamic School - Masjid Al Huda Sunday School has been running since 2005. Mashallah, more than 330 students attend the school every Sunday from Pre-KG thru 9th grade.


• Al-Huda Hifz Academy - Imam Hafiz Waheedullah Khan is leading the Hifz-ul-Quran program for boys. This is a full-time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm.


• Tutoring of Quran - The Nazira program, geared towards reading the Quran with proper tajweed (pronunciation) is available Monday - Thursday from 5:00pm thru 7:30pm. The Imam of the masjid, Hafiz Waheedullah Khan will be administering this program in the basement of the masjid.
