The Legacy of the Prophet (saw) - Saturday, Feb. 11th

Insha-Allah, as part of celebrating the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal and Milad-un-Nabi, we have a program on The Legacy of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihiwasallam - A Practical Example for Mankind, on Saturday, February 11th, at Masjid Al-Huda.
In a time when many Muslims are looking for a guide to help make a positive change in their lives, no person sticks out more as a practical example than the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) with his noble qualities and actions.
The stories and lessons that can be derived from the Life of the Rasul (SAW) are numerous and can be implemented into ones life to bring much needed blessing and tranquility.

Come join us on Saturday, February 11th at Masjid Al-Huda to learn from a well-known list of learned and blessed scholars who will teach us, through the seerah of the Rasul (SAW), to also be the best of people and an example for mankind.

Alhamdulillah, the speakers in English are Mufti Azeemuddin, Mufti Hussain Kamani, Maulana Mubeen Kamani and Brother Saad Quadri, all wonderful speakers with tremendous Islamic knowledge and very interactive with the youth.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us and our youth to be inspired.

Opportunity to expand Masjid facility

Masjid Al-Huda currently facilitates and administers many community, religious and educational programs, and are planning to do many more of such programs. We have plans for Funeral Home, Senior-citizen facility, Youth activities facility (Sports and Educational), and building a facility from ground-up for housing a School.
The property next door on Irving Park road is under contract, and we are short of about 100k to complete the acquisition.
If every one of contributes another $100, we will be able to close it. Mashallah, if Allah has blessed us more, we may contribute our fair share towards this noble cause, and in return get Sadaqa-e-Jaariya for ourselves and our parents, inshallah.
May Allah(swt) accept all our efforts, Ameen.

The 40 Hadith of Imam Nawawi

Please join us this Friday at 7:30 p.m. (Isha) as we continue this lecture series on the 40 hadith of Imam Nawawi. This is a good chance to learn how to better oneself and bring their family closer to the deen by way of the Prophetic guidance. This series is taught by Maulana Mubeen Kamani.

Al-Huda Academy - Full time Islamic School

Al-Huda Academy, the full-time Islamic Elementary School, has been operating at full capacity. Additional property acquisition is in process for the much needed school expansion. Proper education of our youth is the top priority. Islamic Schools, full-time and weekends will help us achieve this goal.
The current School and educational programs are made possible due to the community's involvement and will inshallah continue to improve with the community's involvement. Educational Programs for youth

• Al-Huda Academy is a Full-time Islamic School. Classes are held in the Academy building.


• Weekend Islamic School - Masjid Al Huda Sunday School has been running since 2005. Mashallah, more than 330 students attend the school every Sunday from Pre-KG thru 9th grade.


• Al-Huda Hifz Academy - Imam Hafiz Waheedullah Khan is leading the Hifz-ul-Quran program for boys. This is a full-time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm.


• Tutoring of Quran - The Nazira program, geared towards reading the Quran with proper tajweed (pronunciation) is available Monday - Thursday from 5:00pm thru 7:30pm. The Imam of the masjid, Hafiz Waheedullah Khan will be administering this program in the basement of the masjid.
